I am debating with myself weather or not i want to invest in putting duel stacks on my 7.3. Any information,brands, or insight would be extremely helpful!?!:ford:

I put a set of 5" stacks on mine about a 3mths ago. I like them but some ppl don't. They are a lot louder then you would think. I went with MBRP and its was just a straight bolt with no problem.

So with the MBRP there is no welding needed?

Nope. I just had to cut a 5" hole in my bed ( almost broke my damn wrist ) and drill 2 holes to bolt the stacks to the bed. PM me a cell or email and ill send you some pics

I had mbrp 7" on my old dually they sound awesome and look cool if your into the rig look I'm gonna do one 8" on my new truck

Stacks are sweet if you like the look. I custom built mine out off 4.5" emt conduit. It's all welded. Working on a new in bed setup now. Last ones a little crooked.

I love my stacks. I have 6 inch bull haulers. I built the 5 inch bed kit. I used exhaust pipe from a local truck parts store. If I had to do it again I would just buy the kit. Probably worked out to be cheaper in the long run

Did you ever get your stacks. I just put my 4 inch turbo back back on gave the six inch stack and piping to a friend. Word of advice. White truck plus stack equals a dirty *** truck be sure to cover them every night and during the day if it looks like rain

They are turned back. I had straight ones. And cut em off and made turned backs.

I have not got them yet still looking. Ill be home from Afghanistan in a few wks and thats when the work begins!
