Just installed a led light bar. I tapped into the high beam wire at the light to use as the trigger wire to the relay. Also have a switch inside the cab to shut it off When I don't need it with the high beams on. The one thing I did not realize is the day time running light is on the same feed. Is their a way to eliminate this? Or will just pulling the module for the day time running lights be the best bet? IV actually been told by a few techs to pull the module anyway and that will eliminate the yearly problem I have with batteries as they have seen the same issue before

I just unplugged my module. But u won't have a high beam indicator light or a brake indicator light without a shunt cap to plug into the connector. Any junk yard with obs trucks will have the shunt cap.
