What are you all getting for MPG on your stock / nearly stock rig?

Hand calculated on my 2003 SCLB SRW, I get about 17.5 - 15 mpg unloaded mixed, and around 17.5 highway (hubs engaged, winter fuel). About 14 mpg towing a ~5000lb enclosed (highway). This is driving on hilly northeast roads.

Want to know where my truck stands. If my values are low, I might begin to start saving for new injectors. I think I have one or two over fueling given the smoke I see at start up.

Low? Man I wish I got 17.5. I get 15 combined on the lieometer, so probably close to 13 or 14 in reality. I love the skinny pedal though LOL

I'm tuned pretty hot tho

I could squeak out 15-16 if I was unloaded, running the SPD tune, and driving the interstate. Otherwise I was usually in the 14s when just driving locally and 12ish when hauling locally.

12.5-14 in town
18-20 on the freeway
10-12 pulling our 11k trailer

I read this thinking you were getting 6 mpg.

I get around 12-13 on the mostly highway commute to work, mostly 13-15 mpg for highway, but long highway drives with no stops will get me 18 mpg. Towing 12k will get me 9-11 mpg.

All is calculated at the pump, not off the dash gauge.

I'm seeing around 15 average if I try. 18 max all highway doing 60mph, hand calculated. Lie-o-meter reads 1-2mpg higher than actual. When cold mine hazes pretty good too. My truck is pretty much stock, but does have a leveling kit, 35" tires, 4" exhaust and tuned. I'm at about 156k miles. I've thought about replacing my injectors. I don't have a "solid" reason to do it other than the haze when cold and MPG. Some guys claim really good mileage, makes me kind of jealous.

I'm in the exact same boat. 175K and I get a little haze when cold. I don't think it's bad enough to warrant injectors. If I could get 20+ MPG with fresh injectors then I'd bite, but I don't even think that's possible with a V8.
