i was on my way home early (April 3rd), i got passed by a yellow 70's Ford that was packing a Cummins. it had that usual sound that Cummins makes. presumably it was a 12 valve or an early 24 valve.

i remember thinking: "now there is someone thinking out of the box."

My brother just bought a 78 Ford and I am trying to talk him into putting a Cummins in it. It would be wild.

I remember seeing a late seventies ford on ebay with a detroit 6v71. It was up in the Milwaukee area, I guess back in the day this guy was a big time customizer, man it really looked like it came that way from the factory.

"FUNNIEST" thing I ever saw was a mid 60's longbed stepside chevy with a 4-53 detroit in it!!!!!! They would put Emphasis on OIL leaks on that rig/JUNK!!!!!! :hehe:

theres 2 on youtube. One is 4x4 and is army green and the other i think is the stepside that is red. I think the red one had a 4-53 and the 4x4 had a 3-53 detroit.
