Crappy week... anyone have an air filter?
So took my 01 7.3 on a road trip to go to my cousins graduation. I made the trip up (about 250 miles) and when i got there my truck stopped running... I determined the transmition was the problem. I had it towed to transmition shop and everything was toasted.... So i had them completely rebuild it ended up about $3200 parts n labor. The truck was done two days later and I drained my bank account to get it.. Every cent gone. Pluss 700 dollars in debt to my friend.... anyway down to the current issue three days after i get back home someone had the nurve to steal my Grille and my entire STOCK air intake system for some god forsaken reason.... both were stock and i have no clue why they would want my air system but whatever... i got a new hose that clamps to it from my buddy but does anyone have an intake system or even a used 6637 air filter haha i am broke as **** and i dont want to run the truck without at least a filter... Worst of it all im out of work for anouther month and my truck is my only vehicle.... I guess i just wanted to let everyone know that my week has gone to ****... but yea have a good day guys

I really appreciate the kindness everyone is showing but if someone is not near i don't want them to have to ship it
Alright well i came to the conclusion im going to have to pawn or sell my motorcycle to make it through the month. I also really don't want anyone to have to send and spend money on my stupidity of not locking my truck. So does anyone know where the cheapest place to get a 6637 filter or even the 085011 donaldson? Might as well get one while i have the chance but cheapest possible place that anyone knows of let me know that would be awesome. The auto parts stores here want $50-$60 for the 6637..... And yea im living off ramen and hot pockets as it is lol you guys know how college life goes!! Thanks for the help....

Yea that's what I'm trying to get but i latterly have $0 to my name and I'm currently bumming rides to take my finals lol like i said i might have to sell my bike so ill have enough then but for now i really don't want to start the truck without a single filter on especially sense i live on a dirt road. I put a plastic bag over the intake hose so nothing gets in it while it sits...

Yup stock air system and stock 01 grille... I was thinking maybe they wrecked their truck n needed a new one... I had mine painted matte black though so ill be able to tell if i see it around town. People these days.. I'm even a young kid and i still don't understand the disrespect some people have...
Hey guys havent been on in a while i appriciate all the help!!! I got stock box with a used filter... I am ok with not having a grille untill i can get a 05 to 07 one. A couple people say they don't fit on an 01 but some say they do... I found a video of someone putting it on.. I would love to know... Still looking for a 6637... cheapest place??
