Is there any tricks to connecting the coolant hoses to the nipples? I’ve got the mishimoto silicone hose kit, it has aluminum female ends with the retention clips. I’ve tried everything short of beating them on and can’t get the fitting to seat all the way up on the nipple. Any tips, tricks or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yep I ended up putting a little high temp grease on the rubbers and a little on the nipple, slipped right on with minimal effort!
