What kind of coolant filter do you have?

Common leaks are the fitting where the valve is plumbed into the coolant filter base or a o ring that didn't have a little bit of spit/coolant on it before being threaded on. I did have one issue with leaks on a coolant filter from a company called dfuser or something years ago. I had to use way more than the normal amount of plumbers tape to get one of the fittings to seal.

there were a few mfg's that had issues with base a while ago the threaded filter geometry had issues so they would leak at the rubber filter seal unless cranked down to ridiculous levels

FIGURES I GOT ONE THE CRAPY ONES. AND I TIGHTENED IT DOWN WAY TIGHT
