I've been reading around, but nothing exactly matches my case. I was in class today and when I got a break for lunch I was walking to the truck and noticed I was leaking something under the truck. It was a heavy, steady drip from near the oil drain pan (on the passenger side). I can't locate where it is coming from above that. The coolant was just about completely empty. I added some water and got it home and noticed it had leaked where I had it parked before too. I couldn't see anything from the top and could only see a little underneath. I do have the CTS on it and all has seemed fairly normal (did get high deltas when pulling about 2 weeks ago (roughly 30)). It does blow white smoke when I start it for a little bit. What all could this be? EGR failure, oil cooler failure, head gasket, all three?

There is a orange or blue hose between the oil cooler and the egr cooler this may be leaking.

You need to have it scanned for dodes and a live datalog done by a tech that knowes the 6.0.

You need to replace your oil cooler and EGR cooler before you end up with having to do head gasket's as well. I can't say for sure that this is the case for you but if you're blowing steam EVER you must replace your oil and EGR coolers ASAP.

I don't get any codes on my SCT, will a tech be able to read more than that would? Not real sure of a good tech in the area either..

Check in the valley to the passenger side of your turbo. the other guy that said to check your hose is on the right track I am dealing with the same problem and it was the orange hose that was leaking and ford has the blue which is considered an upgraded hose. I can get you part numbers if you need, just shoot me a text 719-200-7830

Crawled under the hood earlier and got a closer look and it actually looked like the t fitting near the turbo for the coolant filter was the problem.. I tightened it up n so far so good, but tuere is a lot of pressure in the degas bottle when cold so $h!t ain't right..

I have alot of pressure in the degass when cold. If there was not, chit would be worse. Coolant systems are pressurized to increase boiling point.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.
