I've got a 86 F-250 with the 6.9 and a T-19 and the clutch pedal won't return all the way back, it stops with about a inch left to return. I can pull it back by hand/foot. Clutch master cylinder is good no leaks, clutch seams to operate normally besides that. It acts like it has a catch point, maybe the safety switch on it. Any advise?

Check for slop where the pedal lever arm goes into the pushrod eyelet (crapped out bushing and/or ovalized eyelet hole). Also look for flex in the firewall, and slop in the bushings on the cross-shaft for the pedal.

Edit - oooops, didn't realize this was such a necro-post.....
