This morning my boss' f350 was making a clicking sound about twice per second under the drovers side hood just to the side of the headlight. It was raining and still dark so i didnt pop the hood. Just now i got a chance to check it out and by the location i was hearing it, i believe it is the solenoid by the headlight. Im a turf mechanic so i dont know exactly what this solenoid controls so i was hoping to find out and figure out why it would be ticking like that earlier. Thanks

i had the same problem last winter it was the the solenoid for the 4 wheel drive
