Dixie Strokers Chapter Bylaws
I. Primary
The Dixie Strokers chapter bylaws may not contradict the local chapter bylaws provided by Powerstroke.org. These bylaws are only an addition to the ones provided by Powerstroke.org.
II. Membership
Chapter membership is open to any Ford Powerstroke enthusiast that resides in the state of Alabama the surrounding states/areas of Alabama. The Dixie Stokers logo must be displayed on the vehicle but the location of the sticker is up to the owner. Members must attend at least 25% of the Dixie Strokers events.
III. Chapter Events
All chapter events will be posted on Powerstroke.org in the Dixie Strokers section. Any announced event that draws at least 25% of the Dixie Strokers members will qualify as an official event.
IV. Chapter Decision Making
Any decisions for the Dixie Strokers will be handled by the officers of the Dixie Strokers. The officers will first address the administration of Powerstroke.org and then will address the members of the Dixie Strokers. Any decision must have two-thirds majority vote from the Dixie Strokers to be passed. In the event of a tie, a new poll will be made in which the two-thirds of the members must vote in the majority. Only Dixie Strokers chapter members may vote on any matter pertaining to the Dixie Strokers chapter.
V. Removal from Chapter Membership
A member may be removed from the Dixie Strokers at any time, with a written request to one of the officials. Any member may be removed by two-thirds majority of voting members. A vote for removal will be made and left open for no less than 14 days. Grounds for removal include, but not limited to, rude or obnoxious behavior, dishonesty to any member on Powerstroke.org and anything that brings disgrace to the Dixie Strokers or Powerstroke.org.
VI. Removal of Chapter Officials
Any elected official may be removed from office by two-thirds majority of voting members. A vote for removal will be posted and left open for no less than 14 days. Ground for removal include, but not limited to, failure to perform the duties of office or any actions that bring disgrace to the Dixie Strokers or Powerstroke.org.
VII. Amendment of Chapter Bylaws
The chapter bylaws may be amended at any time with two-thirds majority of voting members.
