I have 4" turbo back, no cat, no muffler, no tip. Will adding a 5" or 6" tip change the exhaust tone at all?

Maybe slightly but I doubt the human ear will catch it; or atleast not enough to justify spending the money.

Tips= cosmetic upgrade

I disagree as well. I have a 4" straight pipe. I drove it for a month or so without a tip. I ended up goin with 7" tip, 18" long. At WOT I definitely can tell the difference. Even at idle it sounds deeper.

Word on the street is that for every inch in diameter up to 8 inches adds 3hp and anything above 8 inches it's 5hp per inch. And torque increases are just rediculous.
