So I changed out my HPOP and everything went great truck starts and runs great but my question is. If I put the HPOP gear on backward what could happen? I do not know if I put it on backward or not as I took to reservoir apart and resealed it. Also, I put new hpop lines on took the fuel bowl off cleaned it out, and put new seals on it as well. Got off track a little but what could happen if I did put the gear in backward? I have searched and searched but could not find an answer.

I don't think you can put it on backwards.
I would think the gear cut would never line up and let the mesh back into the others.

So I decided to take the hpop reservoir back off and check. I have the lettering of the hpop gear facing toward the hpop. Every picture I have seen of the gear show the lettering towards the front. So facing the radiator. But I have installed the gear with the letting facing the hpop. I really hope I did not mess the install up.
