Just reverse the doghouse and run a hose from it straight down. Make sure there are no high spots in the hose. Its quick and easy, plus looks like a big truck when sitting there idling.

I ran mine to a catch can then to the atmosphere. Only reason I did a catch can was to catch the oil. Should had been atleast dumped from the factory, the oil hurts the silicone boots.

Mine just dumps right down to the ground under the drivers side door, never seen it drip oil or anything.. as for the intake plug, I used the carb style vaccum plugs with no issues.

if you are adding an IC make sure to mod it. if you run a hose out of the doghouse move it past the cab so you don't have the smell. to block off the intake i ground the part inside the intake off flush and used a cap on the outside. i have heard of people removing the whole piece into the intake and epoxying over the hole

To plug the hole I made a stainless oval shaped tab that used the screw and put some RTV on to seal it up good. Never got to run that one though, I ended up having to get the updated Ford intake which used a plastic piece instead of the cast aluminum one.

Or go to your local exhaust shop and ask for a scrap piece of 4" tubing. Spray paint it and install.

I first ran mine to the back of the truck but had some crank case smoke coming from it not much but didn't like it smoking from underneath just didn't look right so drilled a hole in the exhaust and welded a tube to hook it to. And figured that will help draw it out of the crank case also

Just saw this in the catalog when I got it yesterday, do you think it is adequate ?
Also, if using a set up like this, should you run it back into your intake?

I would still run it to the exhaust or to the back of the truck. Just cuz it isn't that much money so not sure how good it will work u know u get what u pay for most times but I'm sure it works

No need to run it to your intake, unless you really want to.

Just thought it might be easier since there is already a hole there for the CCV tube and it might cut down on oder. Possible mount the CC in the engine bay and decrease the amount of tube needed to run it all the way down under the body.

That would work just as long as there is no where for the oil to settle in the line causing back pressure on it. And as long as you can easily drain the catch can.

did you put it strait into the exhaust or did you angle the inside piece down stream to help pull suction and not preasurize the motor. if that makes sence to you
