I'm doing injectors and noticed my ccv pipe looks like it was cut. I bought the truck used, and im not sure what the purpose of this is for, buy its definatly not factory. The pipe probably has two inches with a bend going up and is flat, with cut marks. It practically buts up against the intake hose from my k&n. Why is this like this?

Pic please? _might_ be that the last guy didn't know it was there and when trying to get the most access as possible to the turbo (removal maybe) they cut the hose in frustration. I'm not trying to scare you but if the guy that cut the hose didn't plug the port on the intake where the hose goes then the turbo has been getting unfiltered air through it. Pull the boots off the intake and check the compressor wheel for any damage no matter how slight and plug that hole.

The hose in the open is actually on the ccv itsself the intake doesn't have a hole for the hose attatched to the ccv

Normally the curved hose from the CCV assembly is on the forward end of the CCV and will attach to the intake breather adapter (which is attached to a bracket held down with the valvecover bolts). Some folks either get rid of or plug the breather adapter, flip the CCV assembly 180* and run a hose towards the firewall and down towards the ground (draft tube). The draft tube method can sometime be messy and stinky. Cheers!

What would you reccomend I do? Its off because im doing injector work, but when I put it on should I just put it back the way it was or do something else with it? Where the hose is is on the back side towards the firewall.

Run a line down and out the back so it don't leave oil haze all under your hood or drill a hole into the intake to put it back in the motor

Well I have had it for about 5,000 miles and I never have seen an oil haze under the hood.
