has anyone here traded in a truck with a egr delete? or sold one. wondering if they will notce or say anything or refuse to take it . or if i sell it if they live in a state with emission and it fails it from missing if the epa will come after me or just give them a fix it ticket? i doubt i do anything cause i love my truck but i alway think of trading it in on a new 6.0 or 6.4 every few months.

I was looking at a 6.7 last week and the dealer took mine to look at for trade in. He came back and told me if I wanted top dollar I shouldn't leave my programer in the back seat. He said nothing about the egr, straight pipe, ccv re-route, or even the cloud the lot boy made with it. Bottom line is they want to sell trucks.

Good point let me know I was thinking the same thing and dont want to delete if it will cause some problems

i left my egr valve plugged in and in its original spot, the blue sinister cap would prolly throw a red flag :rofl: but that way it looks stock if i were to sell or trade to a dealer. i doubt they are smart enough and too lazy to look around back of engine for the solid up pipe, plus the huge 4" down pipe does a good job at hiding it :thumb:

If you give them enough money for the new truck, I'm convinced they gloss over a dead body in the back seat...

When you do a delete just leave the valve in place, plugged in. No one will be able to notice that the delete has been done and you won't have a check engine light.
