Anyone else running this tune?

So far, seems like a good tune. I noticed right away that my EGT's are alot cooler just running around town and up slight inclines. Seems like there is alot of trans tuning on this tune. Shift points are spread out nicely and downshifts quicker than many other tunes I've tried.

Anyone else run this tune and have any comments on how it runs on thier truck?

I got the 100hp tow from him but havent run it yet. I have been running Rcd Race and ID xtreme race mostly.

I got the 100 Daily from Cale and love it. Lowered my egts to and flat gets up and goes. The only thing I dont like is how it shifts in the midrange. W/O throttle is good and low end but shifts hard in the midrange. You have that problem to?

The rcd feels more snappy right off the line and might pull just a touch harder on top, But I like Erics tune better all around and it feels quicker from 0-wot. Erics tune keeps the tc locked up in 2-5 and I love that it feels perfect, where as rcd left tc unlocked until 45 then locks up and pulls really well. Rcd smokes more, and holds 5th better, Erics drops down to 4th sooner and just hauls ***. If I was to race someone I would do it in Erics tune. Also Rcd tune takes less throttle input to get more fuel. Where as Erics takes a little more peddle to get the same results which makes the rcd a little more touchy and snappy feeling. I would say power is pretty much the same I just like Erics trans tuning a little better. I noticed slightly better milage out of Erics tune also. I also got my tunes from Rcd while Evan was still doing their tuning, so I dont know how it is now. Eric's tunes are tried and true, and you can't beat his customer service, If you want something tweaked in your tune he is more then happy to get you where you want to be.

thats basicly the same way i feel about the two tunes. and erics made a little more tq. like u said it just feels better. but the rcd is snappier but i guess with the t/c not lock it feels like u arent going anywhere when u stomp on it.erics just hauls a$$. 8)

I have tried erics and Cales, I agree Erics are better. Cales are close but not there yet.

I dont think I would say one is better then another, its just preference. I haven't ran my new tow tune from Cale yet, but when I do I will post up my thoughts. He is a great guy to deal with, true to his word and works hard to make people happy. I can say the same about Eric. You will not be disappointed with either's tunes, and the way I look at it I want as many tunes as I can get so I can feel them all out and see which one works best for me and my situation. I have about 8 or 9 different tunes from the 3 tuners discussed here.

It appears Eric is the one to go with. But what does he charge for tunes if you did not purchase the SCT tuner through him?

Well heres an update, Ive got about 1000 miles on cales 100hp tow. And it is awesome, from the second I loaded it it just performed flawlessly. Very nice trans tuning! I havent towed a big load yet, but 7,000 lbs pulled like nothing and never got hot! As far as erics tunes, normal tunes are 65 and xtreme tunes are 80. I never tried his normal tunes. I only have extreme race and It is an excellent tune!
