Removing the Headliner on a Crew Cab is challenging, to say the least, I had to remove the front seats and center console in order to get the headliner out to drop the sunroof out and repair it. You have to remove the headliner out the Front passenger door to prevent damaging the headliner. This is an all-day affair so if you start on a weekend that has good weather for both Saturday and Sunday you should be able to complete the task no problems. Otherwise, since your just doing cab lights you can just remove the MapLight console, the two visors, and the A-pillars trim this all applies if you have a sunroof. Then you should have enough room to work with to do your light and should only take a half-day all together.
