I was told that you need the take the cab off to stud the heads but a couple other people told me that you dont have to. If i dont have to ill be bulletproofing a 6.0l myself. Just curious.

NO you do not have to!

It is "harder" but not impossible!

I did mine with the cab on. There is an article in the new diesel power mag. about head studs with the cab on.
If you look at the stickys there is a really good break down of the process. Good luck

I just popped my motor out using a chain between the lifting points. You just have to be sure to keep it as short as possible so it does not interfere with the cowling when you get some lift.
