What is the best way to bump the starter when removing/installing the fuel pump on a 97 psd. Is the starter solenoid fender mounted or on the starter. I need to see when the pump comes up as the cam raises it. TIA

You can do one of two things....There is a starter relay on the passenger side fenger...If you jump the two large lugs with something like a screwdriver it'll bump the starter over.... OR you can use a socket on the balancer (crank pulley) and turn it over by hand...I believe its something like a 15/16" socket for that if I recall....

Good Luck,
Casey
