I planned to switch from 3.73 to 4.10 this winter but since i jus did the six speed swap i dont need to; the gearing is plenty low. I bought the gears from ringpinion.com, the front is dana 60 reverse made by yukon. The rear is 10.25/10.50 made by motive. I also have the front and rear master install kits with all the bearings etc. I will ship them but know they are fairly heavy, and im not seperating everything. Asking 700 plus shipping, i paid close to 800. Any ?s jus post thx.

What made you choose the Motive gear instead of Yukon for the rear axle?

the motive was about the same price as the yukon front was and i had a budget. the yukonr ear was really expensive a i didn feel it was necessary.

Im thinking about changing my gears. I have 3.73s also but dont want to ruin my mileage. Any sugestions?

it wll improve your city mileage a lot but your highway may decrease a little depends on how fast you like to cruise and your tire size. I was going o use them with 37 or 35 either would be a great improvement over the stockers

Unless you run 80mph+ on the freeway, lower gears will help your highway mileage too. With 37" tires, 4.30 gears would put you back to the stock overall ratio which was designed for 65-75 mph. I have 4.30s with 35s now and plan to get 37s next.

exactly with my 37 and 3.73 i was losing mileage on the highway and city the gears woulda helped a lot

EDIT- The front gears are USA gear and the rears are Yukon sry i looked the wrong set in my garage also price now 650
