Wow. No response. Must have been a busy day.
I am now running the power stop brand z36 pads. The whole kit is pretty cheap, but I just put a n new slotted rotors about 40k ago and they were in great shape, so no need for new rotors.
No matter what pads you out on, make sure you properly seat the brakes. Powerstop has a very specific process on their website and it works very well.
IN MY OPINION, these pads do feel superior to my previous set of heavy duty NAPA brand.

Power Stop Z36
Model # 756,
Truck & Tow Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Front Brake...
$45 on Amazon
But there are cheaper options out there. I just went to Amazon because I had some gift card balance.
Prices fluctuate a lot, so look at a lot of sites before you decide.

Thank you for your response. Do you remember what brand/part number your rotors are? To my surprise I expected many more answers to my question. Thanks again.

Sorry, I do not. My mechanic bought them since I was also having other front end work done.

And yes, I thought there would be a lot of responses as well.
