What is a good break rotor for F250's? I use my truck on a daily use. I occasionally tow a 14,000 lbs fifth wheel. I had my rotors turned and the truck drove great for a good while, till I started towing my camper again. Thanks........

Brake issues

If you turned your rotors and installed new pads on your truck, and then it started to shutter when you put on brakes. You probably have bad calipers. The pistons seize in the bores and do not come out evenly. If you just did it you can look at the pads and only half the pad will be burnished in the other part will look like new. If you let it go too long it will cause the the floater pins to freeze up in the caliper mounting bracket, then you will have uneven wear on your pads. I just went down this road on a F250, thought the rotors were turned incorrectly, if your rotors are smooth do not turn them, just replace calipers and pads, use Ford super duty pads and Only Ford Rotors the aftermarket rotors do not hold up. You can get the OEM rotors from Tousely Ford for less than 90 plus 15 for shipping. Cheaper than aftermarket, and not made in China, Bosch (made in China) , Wagner (made in China) and they both cost more than Ford. Hope this helps
