I'm having an issue in a 99 250, with the brake pedal getting hard, the Back Left brake dragging and then after awhile, it will release and my pedal will be normal. I flush the brake booster and on a start up, the brake pedal goes down. So it isn't the booster. Was wondering if it could be the check valve or a losing air somewhere? If it is a collapsing line at the caliper, it shouldn't release the pressure and go back to normal? Happening daily. New caliper and rotor in the rear as well. What do yall think!

My 01 Ex just started that two weeks ago o n the pass side. My wife didn't catch it until she had gone through the pad and halfway through the pad back plate. Rotor was toast. One of the Pistons on the caliper was frozen up. Couldn't hardly squeeze it with a c clamp at all. Pumped it out cleaned it and a day later it was dragging again. New caliper was the fix.
