Ok, I have a 38R and the max boost I have seen out of it is 30 psi. Also, at idle I have absolutly no boost. Driving around town I normally only see at most 5 psi. It is only when I am all the way in it that I have seen 30. I have looked for a turbo leak and when I give some throttle I feel it leaking a little leake where the turbo connects to the AFE Bladerunner. I have titened the clamp as much as I can there but no luck. Everything looks to be tite but I don't know. I am starting to wonder if I hooked it up corectly. Is there saposed to be some kind of O-ring there or something? Any insite to this problem would be much appriciated.

You shouldn't have any noticeable boost at idle. 5psi driving around town sounds about right depending on load. 30psi might be right depending on your mods and tuning. You can always pressurize the tubing from the intake back and check for leaks.

How do you pressurize the tubing from the intake back? I have heard of this but have no clue on how to do it. Don't you have to make some kind of special tool to hook up to the intcooler pipes. I guess I could get a pvc cap that would fit over the intercooler pipe and then put an air chuck in the pvc cap.

that'll work to , get one of those black rubber connectors with the clamps on each end , a cleanout and an air chuck. Drill out the clean out , put the chuck in that and with some jb weld around the chuck hole, tighten the hose onto the cleanout with some caulk to help seal threads , attach to turbo , tighten and shoot some air
