I have this installed on my '16 and really like it. Only downside of it is the smell is a bit strong when standing next o it at idle but otherwise no other "complaints".

I've seen some people just route it to the airbox and that eliminates any smell, or run the line so it's in the wheel well/further back and that get's rid of anything noticeable. Haven't done it myself but there are some good options out there for routing that seem to minimize/eliminate anything at idle.

Yeah I just routed it the way the instructions said to and I've noticed it on the passenger side at times and other places around the truck depending on where the wind is from that day. Definitely still extremely happy with it.
