I have recently had my head gaskets done due to blowing one and ever since then I am gettting blue smoke from my exhaust. It happens when the motor has been running and I stop at lights or a stop sign. When I pull away I get a plume of blue/grey smoke comming from my exhaust. I've had it in to my dealer and they foud I had to much oil in the motor from when they changed the head gaskets. They drained the excess and replaced the ICP senor (whatever that is) and said it should be fine. The problem is getting worse though. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know what is causing this.

how long has it been since they "fixed" it? sometimes the exhaust can get fouled up with oil/coolant if your heads/egr blew. Do you know if the EGR cooler was also blown. Usually blue smoke is oil. White is coolant or raw fuel, and black is semi burnt fuel.
They said the EGR cooler was okay. I noticed this morning that after starting up and when I pul away I get black smoke. Then when I pull up at the first set of lights and sit and idle I get blue/grey smoke comming out of the exhaust and more when I pull away. Most often I get the smoke when I pull away after idling. It does it almost ever time now. It's about two months since they did the heads.

They said "it should be fine" thats nice, but it aint fine. I would find another dealer or better yet, find a shop that specializes in the 6.0 and will perform some actual testing.
So you took it back and they found to much oil in the crankcase from when they changed the head gaskets. this means your fifteen thousand dollar engine had coolant and fuel and whatever crap they use to clean the deck surface, in the crankcase, and they did not change the oil after performing the repair, hmmm.
Change the oil because the oil is now contaminated with coolant and probably fuel and crap, and see if the blue smoke condition improves, my guess is that it will:nod:
