Following... just did mine with sleeves. Burned off the white smoke fairly quick. Maybe 20 miles of freeway driving. Now she rolls coal every time I leave a stop sign or light.. more so than before I replaced them. Don't know whether it's an issue or not.

Aftermarket/upgraded injectors will need tuned to not "roll coal".

Do you have a video of the amount of smoke? Might need to keep going to help burn the rest of it off.
If this is directed to myself, no I don't have a video. But to clarify, I'm not rolling coal like most of these tuned diesels high school kids are driving. When accelerating, either from a stop or just stepping on it on the freeway, I am getting some black smoke. My only question eith this is because it didn't smoke ad much before. Prior to injector swap, if I wanted it this much smoke, I had to let her idle for 10-15 minutes to let her load up. One "solid" press of the pedal (or even a mile down the freeway) and she cleaned herself up nicely.

What I replaced were stock rebuilt AA injectors. No special tuning. I do have a TS 6 position chip which I typically leave on 75hp. Seemed to be the best fuel economy.
