Degas cap blew off 10 miles after a shop replaced one injector and fuel filter housing. Not my truck. I would guess had gasket but what else might have happened? Don't know the temps or readings

The repair should have nothing todo with what you describe -- there is more to this story

There is definitely more to this story but sounds like a definite 6.0l blowing another owner to get money thrown at it... run a pressure guage in the return line that comes from the rad and goes to the degas bottle. Make sure the tubing is long enough to come into the cab should never be over 15psi so get one where that can easily be seen.

Provide year, model, millage, engine size. and any symptoms prior to failure.

1. Do a radiator pressure test.
2. Could be to much tap water in the radiator, it will boil up causing steam.
3. Stuck thermostat.
4. Failing water pump.

Any codes?
Coolant in the oil dipstick?
Have you taken it to the shop?
