I'm original owner of 2000 7.3 Excursion. I can't get the "blinker" to stay on. I have to hold it to make it flash. I'm assuming it's my flasher... can anyone give me the location and any tips for making the replacement as easy as possible? Or, could it be something else causing this?

I have one in a 2000 Expedition doing the same thing. I too would like to know how to fix it. We only drive it occasionally, but its still a pain. See if yours works normally when you push it forward to the high beam position.

Sounds like the turn signal switch. About 80 to 100 bucks from a parts store but you can get it on ebay for around 30. Just ordered mine. I think it to screws under the steering column to take the cover off then you just remove the unit and replace. Sounds easy but we will see and ill let ya know.
