Having the last pull at Big Lick on 8/19 and 8/20. Very large, well ran, fast paced event. I am going Saturday 8/20. Big Lick is in Locust NC outside of Concord. More details at straightdiesel.com
There is a little restaurant and gift shop in Locust that is KILLER! They have home made ice cream and a meat and three that will make you slap your Granny:hehe:. Think the name is Fresh Foods. Coming from Concord Turn right at CVS and it is 1/4 mile or less on the left. Looks more like a gift shop.
Back to pull. They have concession stands and there will be a few vendors. On Saturday gates open at 4:00 Pm and pull will start about 7:00 PM. Got there 45 minutes last time and had to park on the opposite end of property, huge crowd. Found me a Super Duty next to the rail, showed guy my CPA shirt and had a seat on his tail gate. Hope to get there around 4:30 or 5:00 and get a good parking spot. Sit on my own tail gate.
