Just bought an old beater F250 with 7.3 powerstroke. 211,000 miles and it is hard to start in the mornings when it is like 50 degrees out (I know that is nothing to a lot of you).

This was a fleet truck for a contractor, and it was probably frequently rode hard and then put away wet, so I'm assuming that the fuel system may be pretty gunked up. Before I try to mess with the GPs (have not tested them yet), I was thinking I'd run some good fuel cleaner through the system (I have an empty fuel tank that I could put a "shock treatment" dose into and then switch to the main tank.

This is my first diesel, but in the past with gas motors (auto and marine) I've had good luck with either SeaFoam or Ring Free. What do you guys recommend for diesels like the PSD?

Thanks in advance

Run some Power Service Bio Kleen through it in case there is algae in the tank.
