Hi everyone,

After turning my truck off it sounds like the belt chirps. I was reading and looking into this and I saw somewhere that it could be the motor shuts down faster than the accessories which causes the chirp. As in the accessories still have momentum causing a slight slippage of the belt. I was curious if there is any need to be concerned about this or if I should replace the belt. It's a 2013 f250 w/ 50,000 miles. I'll try and get a video after work. Thanks in advance :)

My 6.7 never did that. Both my 6.0's did and was normal. How does the belt look on it? Could just be time to replace it.

Tried to get a video last night after work but it barely chirped at all (go figure). Belt seems to be in good shape from what I can tell

Checked under the hood tonight and looks like the smaller pulley under the intake has a wobble to it. Not sure how to post a video here. I believe it’s the water pump pulley
