Looking for people's real world numbers and their setups

Before city 13.2 / hwy 18
Setup same as sig minus ficm and ficm tuner

After city 15 / hwy unknown unloaded... Setup is the signature but running atlas 40 towing
Currently making a 600 miles trip with a 20 ft boat and about 600 lbs in bed estimated weight is 4500 lbs towing will update these hwy towing miles tomorrow when I fill up.

Mileage is real world hand calculated.. Low my ficm tuner

I was getting 20 mpg going 70 mph. Before ok atlas 40. Now in getting 18 if I'm lucky. Matt's SRL tune. 3.73 rear end. 285 tires. I'm getti g ready to make some more moves. And I'm thinking MPGs will go down more. Oh well. I bought my TDI Jetta to worry about mileage and diesel prices. 50 MPGs is pretty cool

Tow

Completed the trip averaged 16mpg hwy with boat and bed weight doing 60-65mph.

Gearing: 3.73
Strat: vcxfa9? Whatever the most recent Strat is is what I'm running.
Tires: prolly killin my mpg, 325/65r18 aggressive tread! I'd love to see what my 275/70r18 dura grapplers woulda got.

EGT's never went above 1150 and there are some steep grades in ct and mass.

Running the Atlas 40 has given me quite a bump in MPGs. I'd say a solid 1-2 throughout all my driving. As it sits my daily driving can get me around 320+ miles with half tank left on a 38 gal tank. Just went 477+ with 1/4 tank left.

6" lift on 35's on 3.73 gears CC LB modded up a tad...need to check the weight.

That is impressive, especially around here with the traffic.

I still have the 4 strat, need to look into 9.

Recently fixed a broken 2004 truck and got f'ing terrible mpg and I'd like to fix it. I cant live with 13.5 mpg pure hwy 70-80 mph. Not towing anything, right?

Engine details
egr delete with up-pipe
head studs with new heads and gaskets.
new filters all around
original injectors with 100k
running opti-lube
Atlas 80 ficm tune
4" straight pipe
4" lift on 33" AT's

What gives?

Between 80-70 mph you should be around 11-12 psi give or take not ideal for fuel saving. Keep the truck at 65-70 around 5psi and under and you'll see a huge difference in mpg I promise. I'm currently avg 16.7 in mixed city/atlanta hwy traffic.

Ficm tuning definitely gave me 1-2 mpg bump, ecm tuning didn't help probably because I can't help but put my foot into it every once and a while.
