I just noticed a drip in the driveway under my '06 F-350 6.0. Dealer says it's the bed plate seal and they will have to pull the motor out to replace it and the rear main seal while they're at it. Any comments? Motor is stock w/ 25k mi.. I'm a little worried about everything going back together correctly. That's a lot of work. Any help would be appreciated.

There techs are trained and you should have no problems. It is underwarranty still so if it has problems after wards you can always go to a different dealer with different techs.

Thanks for the input. I had a 2001 F-350 w/ tons of problems. I bought a brand new one hoping that my $42k would make it all better. I've already had an egr cooler go bad, the bed plate seal, the sensor on the water/fuel seperator, and something w/ the tone ring sensor in the rear diff. My confidence is waning. I hope these probs. are just minor and the truck will keep on going strong. When the truck is working properly, I love it.
