Hey Powerstrokers...

I recently had my Hornblasters kit installed and these things are a huge difference over the Hadley kit I currently have as well! I now use the Hadley bully horns as my daily driving horn, and the Hornblasters kit for the fun/get the *@#&$ out of the way horns!

My problem is this: The guys that did the install did a great job with mounting and placement of the kit. The first day I used the horns I didn't see anything in the dash light up. After waking up the next morning, I realized that my battery light in my dash came on and didn't turn off until about 15 minutes of driving. I'm not sure what is causing this, but I'm gonna guess it has something to do with the amps being drawn from the Hornblasters kit, and the small power wire running to the battery.

The battery light goes away now a minute or so after starting up, but comes on immediately once triggering of the horn blaster kit. My volt gauge, however, doesn't drop below 13 volts when blasting the horns. Any insight would be greatly appreciated and thanks again for all the help:icon_ford:

Which setup did you buy? It sounds like you have a small wiring problem but I doubt it would be hard to fix. Just give HornBlasters a call and they'll help walk you through the correct wiring setup. All the guys there are really friendly and are happy to talk your ear off.
