I keep haveing trouble with batteries in my powerstroke especially when its cold enough to be using the block heater. It will crank slowly as if the batteries are low. The alternator is putting out 14.8 volts at idle, all wire is good no corrision. But still if it sets more than a couple days when cold hard to start, batteries will be low. When its warm the problem goes away. I am wondering I only drive this truck maybe 1-2 times a month or less could the batteries just be not chargeing up good from non use. The truck only has 24,000 miles on it I am the original owner.I have checked GPR,have not checked wiring harness under valve cover but not sure the problem is that or glow plugs. Anybody have an opinion or Idea:dunno:
