Hey Guys, iam needing your help I have this 2015 f250 that iam needing to do a rear axle/diff upgrade to increase carrying capacity. It has the sterling 10.5 full floater in the rear which ford rates as 6100lb. I have enquired with Dana and they do axle rear upgrades for early and later models but to my understanding not for the 11 to 16 year model. Has anyone modified the sterling rear axle/diff in there truck? or know of any aftermarket companies that do this so they can increase carrying capacity. Thanks for your help.

With money and time anything is possible.

Hemitt axles should do the trick:

Just remember if you upgrade the axle, the drivetrain and brakes are still rated the same.

Getting a dually rear end and running a custom single tire/wheel combo is $$$ but still probably the cheapest. Also be careful not sure how things are in the UK but axel swaps don't equate increasing the vehicle payload in case you have to deal with any government agencies that may want a look-see at it.

The black ops edition F250
The first of its kind in and out of the GWorks workshop, man, we loved building this big rig. The statement it has on the road is incredible, and we're stoked to be a part of this car.
We removed the previous canopy and got to work on making the deadliest black-ops canopy on our roads!
This car is set up for towing, and we wanted to try and keep weight down; in our initial meetings, we decided that there was no need for a tray and then a canopy on top because of the sheer size of this car; that would have saved over 150kgs alone!
Although we had to re-engineer where some fittings would go, we for sure loved the challenge and the outcome. Let us know what you think of the result in the comments below!
