I have a 1995 F350 with an automatic transmission. I purchased a 6.0 transmission cooler (FORD GENUINE OEM 26 ROW TRANSMISSION COOLER - 5C3Z7A095CA) with the adapters to hook it up to the 7.3 tranny. The fluid here is stupid expensive now so I just want to make sure I pickup the right amount for the job. Any recommendations for fluid type/brand?
Also what recommendation do you guys have for fluid type/brand for the rear end.
I finished the cooler install. I tookout about 8 L of oil out of the system from the cooler and the tranny pan. I was unable to drain the torque convertor. I purchased only 6 quarts of fluid. I will hit the store tomorrow and buy another 3
