Well I got a question for you guys. Currently have a 2006 F250 Harley, and well I wanting to make it a bit more unique. What I was thinking is putting in a manual transmission. Has anyone else attempted this, or have any idea what might be involved?

I know I will need a new pedal assembly, but I was wanting to keep my adjustable ones(GF is short so needs to move em). Would I need shorter or longer drive shafts, new cross member?

I help or advice you might have is greatly appreciated.

I have done this on some older fords and a dodge cummins the best way is to find donar truck with the set up you need, it needs to be as close in build and year model as the one you are converting. I would imagine you'll need the wiring harness and fuse block as well as pedal asembly, steering column, flywheel, cltuch trans, slave & master cylinder, shift assembly, drive shafts, cross member, I am not sure about the IDM or the ecm, ect ect ect. I have done it with and whithout a donar and almost evertime it was more expensive without the donar because of all the little parts you need. PLus you can part out all your old auto parts and whats left of the donar and get some or most of your money back invested in the donar.
