They are a cab off or engine out job. Not something for the every day worker. I have "heard" of in truck replacements, but I dont know how feasable that actually is.:dunno:

mine were done with the cab still on. turned out great, trucky runs strong

I've seen it done, it takes patience and tough knuckles. You have to remove pretty much everything under the hood, including the ac/heater box. If you don't have resources to do a cab off, it can be done.

I've also seen someone rent a couple transformer lifts from the tool rental place, put one on each side of the cab, and balance it up enough to push the frame out from under it. Not recommended, but another option.:grd::badidea:

Like I've said, I have heard of it!:hehe::hehe:

I just know most, not all :D, shops pull the cab or engine.:thumb:

I agvree I was just messin with ya hope someone still gets them for a good price I just bought a set for $370 shipped to the house for my truck

That is still better than the $400-$500 that everywhere else charges.
