SW

I'm partial to the SW side of town. I'm not sure on the schools down this way since my kids are only 4 and 1. The parks are nice and I'm close enough to the mountain that I can ride my quad/bikes from the driveway to the trails.

I've been here four years and am happy with the Mountains Edge area. The extreme NW will have the best bang for the buck.

All the suggestions offered so far sound great, but the thing to really consider is how far do you want to commute to work back and forth. Living in Pahrump maybe nice but then you lose two hours of your life driving back and forth, not to mention the cost of fuel if it goes to 7.00 dollars a gallon like the regime leader would like.

It is a give and take.:) You have to weight it your self,,, I moved here because my family came first. The plan was after the kids take off for collage, Wife and I were going to move to the Summerland or Greenvalley area. Now with the crime rates going up in Vegas we're rethinking the idea of moving.
