ok so i have a 95 f-250 automatic, intercooler, ts 6 position, and afe intake. well yesterday it started making a funny noise under the hood, kinda like a jake brake/ helicopter. it did it when i let off the gas going down hill and sometimes just cruising. it did not matter what speed i was going. not just that noise but when it was doing that the exhaust sounded different, not the normal flutter sound of a straight pipe but it was more of a hiss, very different. if i give it gas, it goes away until i let off again. any thoughts of what it may be? thanks

Check your EBPV and all the piping (ehaust and intercooler) and go from there.

unplug the sensor at the airbox
and what will that do?
sound like EBPV is acting up.their is a a 2 wire plug that comes off the turbo on the drivers side.you can unplig that to see if that fixes it.it won't hurt the truck by unpluging it.
