Hey all,

The wife, 2 month old, dog, and I are in Utah tonight, and heading into Grand Junction tomorrow on our drive back to MI. We're towing around 7000lbs and I've got around 1400lbs in the bed.

My turbo has been acting up and is in need of a cleaning. Any shops or individuals that anyone knows of that can do this in the Grand Junction area, in a day or two's time????? It's a 05' 6.0.

Anyone interested in any trades for labor in Grand Junction??? I've got a new 30-ton air/hydro press I'd be willing to off ($1000 bucks new) If not I've got cash...

If non of the above, are there any of those shops that you can rent a bay by the hour? I've got all my own tools in the trailer.

Any help would be great guys.

If you can make it to Glenwood Springs, there is a Bulletproof Diesel authorized shop there. I realize that you don't have a BPD problem, but they'd have to know their butts from their butt splices to be approved as a BPD installer. They are:
Professional Diesel & Automotive
3710 Hwy 82
Glenwood Springs Colorado, 81601
Phone: 970-945-5080

GJ to Glenwood is only about a 1000' climb. You'd still be fixed up before the passes.

Thanks djmaguire I'm gonna give them a shout in a bit. Trucks hauling amazingly, but when the turbo sticks it's no more fun.

Got it to sticking. You have a pretty 250 miles ahead from GJ to Denver. Enjoy and safe travels!

I live in grand junction. I would take it to diesel services inc. I do all my own work so I've never been there but everyone suggests them. I know a former mechanic from there and they did a lot of bulletproofing jobs and install quite a bit of bpd products.
