My ‘08 F-450(wide track front end) 4x4, is a terribly stiff ride, and I’ve been looking into options to make it ride a little better. Anyone have any experience using the Icon Dual rate coil springs? Just curious if they are worth it?
Also looking at getting shulastic shackles for the rear leafs, again any experience?
Lastly, the truck wanders and weaves extremely bad, like it’s a chore to drive the thing on the highway which is super annoying. What are good options for upgraded steering, linkage, and suspension components?

I am running the 'Icon Dual rate coil springs' on my '08 6.4 250, I've had them for about a year now. They're a little stiff - which I don't necessarily mind because the front end feels well-planted, but if you're looking for on-road 'comfort' I'd look at something different.

I have a 19 450. I put the fox DSC coilover up front and I did the scalastic shackles out back. The coils made a huge difference and the DSCs have a wide valve adjustment. I did 2.5 DSC shocks in back which made a big difference then added the shackles witch made an additional but small difference. Had I done only the shackles maybe I’d of noticed more. I think they were like $400 and i probably wouldn’t spend that again. I don’t know, I also added those shackles to my last truck. They do eliminate that tiny jar from road joints and seams. I guess my advice would be to go Fox DSC At all 4 corners. Will make a big diff. Expensive but if your dabbling on icons website you’re already signed up

are they stiffer than stock springs? If they are even a slightly better ride than the stock 450 springs then I’m in.

I will definitely look into the fox dsc stuff too.
and yeah if the shulastics help get rid of those tiny jars in the rear I think I’m going to try them out.
thanks for the feedback
