I was wondering if anyone could help with an air conditioner question. When I first bought the truck the seller said the A/C worked fine and I used it all the way home, but by the next morning the A/C clutch was squelling when ever I tried to put it on. I am not sure if I need to replace the whole condenser, clutch or it may need a recharge. What kind of test can I run to find the problem
Thanks in advance

If the clutch is squealing, the only way to fix it is to replace the clutch.
I think you can buy the clutch only. If so, its a pretty easy swap. If not, you have to replace the compresor. That requires recovering the refrigerant, and adding in new after you put the new compressor on. Hopefully you can buy the part seperate. Otherwise, its gonna be a little expensive.
