well here is the deal it runs and idles fine in neutral and park and reverse put it in drive and it dies. sometimes it seems like if you wait long enough it will run fine in drive but eventually will die out again when you come to a stop in drive. It feels like it wants to keep moving and when you stop it dies, fires right back up in neutral but drop her in drive and she is dead. so im thinkin that the torque converter is staying engaged and eventually bleeds off and then you can drive it again. does that sound possible? is there a way to wire the converter so i can put it on a switch to unlock it? anyother ideas? im stranded with a new job to get to tomorrow this is not good!!! just need to know how to get her from point a to point b for awhile until i can change out the tranny if thats what it is any help would be appreciated!! thanks

Check your fluid level, I had this happen and the fluid was too low.
