Just curious what sort of milage these engine can normally attain. I am looking at purchasing a '96 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo and I have no idea what these engines are like.

Would I be making the right choice if I said the engine has 324,000 km's on the dial?

I've seen them with 500,000+ and all stock with the exception of normal wear and tear. My 95 had 250k when I sold it and it's still running strong. GMDuraturd on the forum has it now. Excellent motor. Wouldn't hesitate to buy it if it runs strong and maintenance has been kept up.

This is actually an ex-ambulance. A 1996 E-350 type 3 series so hopefully it has been maintained as they obviously need these units to run and run well at that.

Just looking out to see what problems to anticipate in the powerstrokes.....
