so i was just driving the truck today and it was running perfect. i turn into my neighborhood and it just starts running like crap and would not
go past 5mph i get it to the drive way and it dies went to start it and it would drop to like 500rpm then back up to 800rpm for about 10sec then smoothed out but still no throttle response at all and white smoke as soon as it started.

i just got this truck a month ago and the previous own said it has new injectors and fuel pump i did a full service on it and everything was fine no fuel in oil or coolant and there is no CEL on

so i am lost at what could be wrong

turbo?

Not turbo. Under valve cover harness or the pigtails on the motor side harness. Supplies power to the injectors.

Unplug the ICP sensor and try to start.

Check fuel bowl for oil.

Check oil level

Check for fuel pressure.

Inspect all the valve cover gasket wiriing harnesses for burns, broken pins, etc. Both outer and underneath valve covers.

Report back.

So ICP unplugged was about the same? I'd think ICP needs replacing. Was there oil in the connector? If so, it needs it anyway.

there was a thread few years ago (kept link for this reason). Even though your symptoms are compatable with bad UVCH being unplugged, theres a sensor in the middle of the spider assy. The thread b4 was a smoke issue, bad run'n and when he unplugged it, the truck ran fine then. Might give ur a shot, unplug sensor, see what happens. I'll post back with "DELPHI" # for sensor.

Some reason, my eba account "lost" the part link, but i wanna say its the DELPHI TS10098 sensor.
