The only number that didn't come up was the washers. I'm sure they can tell me which ones to use if I call
When I ordered online, I told them I needed 4 washers with this part number in the comments block and they added them to my order and emailed me to let me know also.

You can use either the copper washers (for 6.0 banjos) or the composite washers (for 6.4 banjos). The washers are the same size, but I believe that the torque values for the composite washers are slightly higher. Ask Tousley about what the exact torque value is for the composite, if you use those. If you use the copper washers, torque to 38Nm or 28lb-ft.

EDIT: Heard that the torque value for the composite washers is 33lb-ft.

i bought mine the other day. what do i have to torque these to?
See post #22. You can use either type of sealing washer (the 6.0 copper or the 6.4 composite) on the 6.4 banjo bolts. The torque value depends on your choice of sealing washer. The copper sealing washer requires that the banjo bolt be torqued to 38Nm or 28lb-ft. If you buy the composite sealing washers, ask the parts guy when you buy them. I believe that the torque value is slightly higher for the composite.

EDIT: Indeed the torque value for the composite washers is higher. 33lb-ft to be exact.

Why Mod Banjo's?

I am in line with others asking what difference people have noticed with this mod? MPG, HP, Throttle Response at WOT? Also the purple spring, what is this for and what does this mod do?

I picked up the kit, bolts and composite washers today. I asked the parts guy about torque values for tightening and after he looked around through manuals for 10+minutes I gave up for him:tard: If anyone knows the torque value for the composite washers (6.4 bolts) please chime in. Typically I don't get started until I gather all the info-"murphy" has a vote too. Also, thanks again to all the master mechanics on here for being so generous with info and giving us DIY'ers a leg up to keep these beasts running. :thumb:

I read on here its 28ft/lbs for the banjo bolts.
That is correct, when using the copper washers. If my failing memory serves me correctly, I believe the black composite washers require a little more. 5 lb-ft seems to ring a bell.... I do know the composites take a touch more and it isn't much.

Fuel Pressure Spring

NYC F-350,

I know this is slightly off topic but I noticed you have the fuel pressure spring mod. Which one did you use, and where did you purchase it from?

$51.70 plus shipping from Tousley Ford. Try clicking here to go to the site, and directly to the kit.
Those guys beat my local dealer by about 50% every darn time, and if my local guy doesn't have it in stock, I can get it delivered from Tousley BEFORE my local guy can get it with the next day delivery. Even with the next day, its STILL cheaper

I'm going to order these goodies as soon as I get my truck back from the dealer for it's last repair before warranty is out. An oil leak that was fixed once already, and some 'upgraded' Ford parts :D. I'll install all that stuff while installing my BPD kit :woot

When I installed the BPD system with the cold weather package is when I installed the 6.4 banjos, the updated spring, a new HPOP, cleaned the turbo, a new IPR screen, the updated turbo oil drain, the updated "hardline" turbo oil supply line, EGR delete, CCV mod, new CAC boots and a few other things. I figured while its getting torn down that far, I am doing everything I wanted to do myself.
